Your YIP, Your Winnipeg

Getting Involved

The YiP year starts in September and finishes off in May. All you have to do is attend a meeting in the fall and as long as you’re in grade 9-12 and your committee has room – your should be good to go! Look for posters in your school with the meeting date and time, or speak to the staff advisor for YiP at your school. Come with an open mind and some ideas as to how you’d like to see Winnipeg change for the better, then you’re off to a great start.
